International business communication
A good packaging solution can still fail if it is explained badly. We prepare technical documents and packaging concepts so that German- and English-speaking business partners understand them, and we help align requirements between manufacturers and EU customers.
Get in touchTypical starting situations
An Austrian customer sends a long questionnaire on packaging materials and the answer is due in a week. A specification exists only in your local language, or an e-mail exchange about a pallet type has produced three different interpretations. The technical substance is usually fine; what is missing is a clear, professional presentation that the recipient can use without further questions.
How we work
We follow our four-step approach, and communication runs through all of it, with its main emphasis in the fourth step, implementation and EU communication. After the initial assessment and the material and document review, we know what is available and where the gaps lie. We then structure the information, write or edit the documents in German or English and agree the wording with you before anything goes out.
We pay attention to the expectations of Austrian and German partners regarding quality, documentation and tone: precise terms, traceable statements and no claims that cannot be backed up. This is especially important with regulatory topics. For example, we take care to separate a supplier’s declaration on a single material from statements about the assembled packaging.
What changes for EU customers and the PPWR
With the PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40, applicable from 12 August 2026), more EU customers will ask their suppliers for packaging information, even where the supplier is outside the EU. Companies that can answer promptly and in clear language are easier to work with and easier to keep as partners. The content of those answers comes from the earlier steps, particularly the PPWR and EU compliance groundwork.
Result
You communicate your packaging in a way that EU partners understand, with documents that are consistent, correctly worded and ready to be reused for the next enquiry. We do not claim that a document will be accepted by every customer or authority, and we do not give legal advice. To discuss which documents you need, use the contact form.
Frequently asked questions
Do you translate documents?
We prepare and edit technical content in German and English with a packaging-specific understanding, which goes beyond word-for-word translation. Where a certified translation is required, that is a separate service from a sworn translator.
Can you join calls with our EU customers?
We can support preparation and, where useful, take part in technical discussions. The scope is agreed for each project.
Which documents are most often requested by EU customers?
Typically packaging specifications, material lists, supplier data sheets and declarations, and answers to questionnaires on packaging and recycled content. What is needed depends on the customer, so we start from their actual request.
